Micro-filter drip coffee equipment it has a stainless steel micro-filter with acid etched holes that fits into a heat-resistant, borosilicate glass carafe. it does not require any paper filters for the micro-filter. the filter is carved with super thin 0.2 mm holes that allow the right amount of oil to pass through to add flavor to the coffee without leaving the strong taste you would get from normal metal filters. coffee oils are filtered like paper, but flavonoids (aromatic pigment components) pass through. acid etched holes are much more effective than alternatives such as drilling or laser, creating a better tasting coffee as well as being easier to clean. the single-layer filter also allows for easy cleaning. the result is a smooth coffee with a body. to prepare coffee: fill your freshly ground coffee into the steel micro-filter. pour a small amount of very hot (but not boiling) water over the coffee in the filter, starting from the outside and moving inward in circular motions.

The coffee must be soaked, but water should not drip from the filter yet. wait for about 1 minute for the hot water to release the gases inside the coffee, then pour hot water into the filter (enough for 1-2 cups). even waiting for 30 seconds for your coffee to bloom will enhance its flavor, especially if it has been roasted in the last 2 weeks.
