summary:As the wave of revolution was shaking the continent in 1848, marx and engels declared in europe that a ghost was roaming: the ghost of communism.

this ghost says china miéville is back today.

Can one really imagine otherwise in a world weary with economic depressions, racism, attacks on sexual identities, shaken by a global pandemic that has become more deadly in the hands of neoliberal capitalism, bombarded by imperialist war pipes, and cities ravaged by night after night? So today it is necessary to once again listen to the call of those who raise that ghost.

Well, that's exactly what miéville is doing. He examines the manifesto in depth, referring to a series of sources, and argues that it stands out as one of the most influential political documents in human history.

As another marxist critic said, “very few texts have changed the course of history as much as the manifesto” and just as it was published in 1848, in today's world governed by “anticommunism without communism”, the manifesto continues to be someone's nightmare and someone's hopes revive.

"the ""ghost arm travels"", presented with the full text of the communist manifesto and carrying the quality of a guide, is definitely worth reading

for those who will meet the manifesto for the first time, for revolutionaries and even for the most rigid anticommunists..."The manifesto has become a masterpiece of its kind with its radical 'objection', unprecedentedly compelling style, captivating that prevents people from looking away from it, and even its typography that loudly cheers

moreover, it still maintains this feature today.
