Product description

"a thousand years after the entire globe came under the dominance of the single state, the spaceship integral is preparing to depart to take the ""wild"" beings on other planets under its control." The engineer of the project describes life in the single state in the diary where he was writing for potential readers at the bottom rungs of the ladder of civilization in these very days. Modern industrial society has reached such a point that free will is now a source of unhappiness, and the lives of citizens can be controlled based on a mathematical certainty based on the efficiency system developed by f. w. taylor. The citizens of the single state, who were ripped off from the primitive wild world by the giant green wall, are constantly ruled by the reelected velinimet. They are called by numbers instead of names, they wear sample clothes and are fed artificial food. Their private lives do not exist. "we, inspired by aldous huxley's brave new world and george orwell's 1984 novels, have earned the title of ""father of the anti-utopian novel"" for zamyatin." The novel, whose english translation was published in new york in 1924, was only introduced to readers in the soviet union in 1988.
