Recently, blankets have been a topic of curiosity, especially among the victims who suffered in the izmir earthquake.

what is a thermal blanket? The thermal blanket, invented by dupont in the 1950s and later used by nasa for space missions, has a shiny appearance due to the metal it contains. The thermal blanket performs the function of insulation by preserving the existing heat, not by warming the person it is wrapped around. From the moment it wraps around the body, the blanket that prevents the outside air from entering also eliminates the sweating effect, minimizing heat losses that can occur through evaporation. The thermal blanket is two-sided

it does not allow cold and heat to pass through, as well as water and wind. the thermal blanket consists of two different surfaces.

on the one hand, it manages to keep cool thanks to sun protection, while on the other hand, it traps heat to keep the body warm, thus preventing hypothermia.
