The Dragon Masters must find it and locate the newest Dragon Master.

The book is fun to read, contains fantasy and magic, and teaches lessons about cooperation, listening, and understanding others.

It has short chapters and a manageable vocabulary for young readers, with simple sentences and a less complex narrative structure, giving young readers a sense of accomplishment.

The subject matter of wizards and dragons is engaging.

The series contains magic and action, and situations that interest children, encouraging them to explore more difficult reading material.

This book is a wonderful way to encourage young readers.

It is not necessary to have read the other books in the series to enjoy this one, as enough background information is provided.

The story will engage new readers and can be an enjoyable read-aloud for preschoolers and kindergarteners.

Tracey West has written a book involving magic dragons and diverse, multi-ethnic children who are learning to become Dragon Masters.

The children demonstrate their concern for each other and for their families through their attitudes and actions.

The series is highly enjoyed by children, including 8-year-olds who read them purely for pleasure.

The books are light and enjoyable, suitable for earlier readers (like 6/7 year olds) and those sensitive to fear, as they do not contain too much violence or manipulation.

One reader's son loved it and became committed to reading in English.

Another reader found lightning and thunder dragons in the book and found it cool.

Grandchildren love these Dragon Master books and attempt to collect them all.
