Product description
Moondrop Discdream 2 combines the classic functionality of a CD player with modern audio technologies in a compact design.

The body is covered in Soft-Touch material with contrasting color accents, enhancing ergonomics for daily use.
Features: Portable CD player Cirrus Logic CS 43131 MasterHIFI DAC Supports formats: CD, CD-R, and CD-RW Universal 3.5 mm head output Battery life: up to 9 hours (CD mode) Display shows track number, battery level, and playback time.
At the core of Discdream 2 is the high-performance Cirrus Logic CS 43131 MasterHIFI DAC, providing 32-bit audio signal decoding with a sampling frequency of up to 384 kHz in PCM format and support for DSD 256. Stable audio operation is ensured by six linear voltage regulators that minimize electrical interference.
The built-in dual-channel amplifier delivers 124 mW at 32 ohms through a standard 3.5 mm output.
The CD drive of Discdream 2 uses an imported motor audio driver for smooth disc rotation, and a professional laser head for precise data reading.
The dual damping system includes a 512 KB electronic buffer and a physical damping construction to protect against vibrations.
The device functionality is expanded with USB-DAC mode, allowing connection to computers without additional driver installation.
The universal 3.5 mm output operates in two modes: analog line-out with a voltage of 2 Vrms and digital optical (S/PDIF).
The player offers a 100-step volume adjustment for precise signal level control.
The 3500 mAh battery provides up to 9 hours of autonomous operation when playing CDs.
The player supports CD, CD-R, and CD-RW formats.
Impressive output characteristics include THD+N less than 0.0005% (AES 17 standard) and a dynamic range of 122 dB.
Additional technical solutions include NDK clock generators to reduce jitter and automotive aluminum electrolytic capacitors in the power circuit.
The informative display shows track number, battery level, and playback time.
