    Product description

    Milano Cocktail is a powerful combination of ingredients recommended for hyperpigmented skin caused by melasma.

    Tranexamic acid is able to inhibit hyperpigmentation by inhibiting various enzymatic pathways.

    On the one hand, it competes with tyrosine, as it has a greater affinity than tyrosine for the enzyme tyrosinase.

    In this way, the melanogenesis pathway is effectively blocked.

    On the other hand, it inhibits the formation of plasmin, a protein that stimulates the synthesis of the hormone that activates melanogenesis (alpha-melano activator) and the release of arachidonic acid, which ultimately leads to the activation of melanogenesis.
