Hello 🌟 Let us answer your questions: 1️⃣ “If hot soup is placed in this container, how long will it take to cool down? "Mepal Cirqula Rectangular 3000 ml containers do not have a heat-insulated thermos feature, therefore, foods like hot soup cool down over time according to room temperature." While it's hard to give an exact time, it starts to cool down significantly in about 20-40 minutes depending on the ambient temperature. If you want to keep the temperature longer, we recommend storing in a preheated thermal carrying bag. 2️⃣ “Are the lids sturdy? Does it leak? Yes, the lids are designed to be high quality, flexible and leak-proof. Especially the Mepal Cirqula series, which has passed leak tests and can be safely used for both solid and liquid foods. ✔️ When liquid and dense contents such as rice, soup, and fatty dishes are placed in this container, it does not leak when the lid is closed correctly. ✔️ It is also suitable for refrigerator storage, microwave heating, and dishwasher cleaning. 💡 Small note: Make sure the lid is fully seated for sealing and remove or leave a gap before microwaving.

Hello The lid of the Mepal Multi Bowl Cirqula containers is leak-proof and airtight. This way, it preserves the freshness of the food for a long time. It is also very suitable for storing delicate foods such as greenery. However, it's not completely vacuum-sealed. Therefore, for best results, we recommend thoroughly drying the greens and placing them in the container, ideally with a paper towel underneath. That way it will keep fresh for several days in the fridge.
