he has brought together 1329 (or 1322) moral hadiths under 644 chapters in the buhârî el-edebü'l-müfred, which collects 249 of the hadiths about good morals and etiquette in the section “kitâbü'l-edeb” in el-câmi 'u'ş-ṣağhîth in 128 chapters.

Except for sixty-three of these hadiths, which are also mentioned in the sections related to etiquette and morals such as the “kitâbü'l-et'ime”, “kitâbü'l-eshribe” and “kitâbü'l-libâs” of the hand-câmi'ü'ş-ṣa'hih, all of them are available in the kütüb-i sitte, which shows that the author meticulously selected the hadiths in the hand-edebü'l-müfred.
