Product description

The book "the train doesn't pass here," 255 pages, by sevinç çokum, adds what might be the most unique text in all of her works to the series of recent novels with "the train doesn't pass here."

From the world of media, nüzhet fermanlı, who resists to not abandon the truths he believes in, the newly emerging passionate young journalist aysan, the ceramicist girl simay who tries to bring her existence out from somewhere in a society stuck in rules, and the street poet sonsuz, the representative of 'abukism' philosophy... in this istanbul novel, çokum goes beyond the previous narrative methods, and presents the city and life that changes from what they experience, with a free language independent from records. Greetings and ironic elements are together, sent to the old anatolian turkish. The narrative, woven with humor in places, subtly prepares the ground for sharp-witted remarks and touches the heart, making the reading enjoyable. Aysan was later placed to live alone in an armenian house in kadıköy, open to the church bells. He described these things in a flash

he said that the trees on the anatolian side seemed to speak more, that the sound of bells was as suitable for istanbul as the call to prayer, and that he was most passionate about the organ sound spreading from the church around that area.
