İskele Yayıncılık Animal Farm

Product description

Although george orwell is more well-known because of his masterpiece 1984, his animal farm has engraved its name in the memories as a classic of grind and black humor. In animal farm, orwell skillfully satirizes the contemporary soviet union and stalin's rule, thus trying to draw attention to the huge gap between socialist theory and practical applications.

although the road to a better and equal system has been embarked on, the outcome has again been inequality and exclusion. The author indirectly suggests that the desire for power and different human temperaments are obstacles in front of any equalizing project, and also leads to the conclusion that can be considered pessimistic.

although orwell does not name the system and its administrators whom he directly criticizes, the general framework of his novel allows us to easily make analogies. In this framework, each character in the novel, the community, and the location have a real-life counterpart.

Animal farm, although read many times as a masterpiece describing the soviet revolution and beyond with a metaphoric and allegorical style, is waiting for its readers as a profound work that will leave a taste in the palate and describe today's societies with a magnificent intuition from the days orwell lived.
