Product description

The book in your hand is the ideas introduced by kethüdazade mehmed arif efendi, one of the ottoman scholars of the 19th century. Although he is usually found in the nakşibendi bazaar, he has spent time with the fathers of bektaşi, wandered through the istanbul bazaars and met with many groups.

This book of mena, which contains clever answers to questions sometimes asked by students, looking at the religious life in tekke and medreses, the education and training system, the society's understanding of religion and the state, and the state affairs of kethüdazade, can be considered partly a history book due to its transmission of historical events, and partly a literature book due to the arabic, persian, and turkish poems and stories within. It actually has a character that includes all these and also exceeds the name of menâkıbnâme on it. This work, which falls outside the scope of written history and scientific studies, has a content that defines the character of ottoman society and people from within.

to all this, one of the great features of this work is the mystical texts and records it contains.

The book generally consists of short stories, a type of narrative, taken from kethüdazade's conversations. product name: menakıb-ı kethüdazade el-hac mehmed arif efendi bir var i̇miş bir yoğ i̇miş product code: 9786057074645 author: emin efendi publication year: 2021 cover type: cardboard cover page count: 464 paper type: 2.
