Product description

Walking is described as a threshold on sevgi soysal's writing line. In this novel of ela and memet's intersection and separation in life, sevgi soysal questions the socially drawn boundaries of masculinity and femininity and class values from an individual's perspective. Ela, who broke out of the narrow circle of individuality in an aegean island and emerged with human sensitivity, can also be read as the inner voice of sevgi soysal, walking through the streets of ankara where the footsteps of march 12th are heard. The walk, which was collected on the grounds of obscenity, has won the 1970 trt novel achievement award.
