IKEA VÅRARV Place mat, dark grey/natural, 35 x 45 cm

Product description

Set the table with earthy tones and discreet patterns inspired by our Swedish heritage.

VÅRARV place mat in durable cotton and jute suits all occasions – and makes your traditional dinnerware stand out.

Made of jute, which is a natural material with a warm expression and small colour variations that make each place mat unique.

Protects the table top surface and reduces noise from glasses and mugs.

You easily remove stains by machine washing the place mat and use it over and over again.

Designer thoughts: 'The idea when I designed the VÅRARV series was to use the textile’s warm and tactile feeling to create a table setting with different textures.

While working on the design, I had an old book of woven patterns next to me and then tested different table settings by using my own sketches.

I also wanted to be precise with details like discreet patterns and the tablecloth’s small decorative tassels.

It’s an elegant and subtle series that suits all occasions.
