Punch Down: Use a 110-style punch-down tool to push the wires firmly into the slots. The tool will cut off any excess wire. Secure: Snap the dust cover or strain-relief cap onto the jack body. Mount: Insert the terminated jack into a keystone wall plate or patch panel until it clicks into place. Warnings & Safety Information Installation Hazard: Network cables should not be installed in high-voltage electrical boxes or alongside裸露 power lines. Keep at least 5 inches (12cm) away from standard electrical wiring to prevent interference. Proper Tooling: When using a punch-down tool, ensure the blade is facing the correct direction (cutting side out) to avoid damaging the jack. Do Not Overtwist: Do not untwist the wire pairs more than 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) from the jacket; excessive untwisting can degrade network performance. Vision Hazard: Do not stare into the RJ45 port while the network is active. Although low voltage, laser light (PoE or Fiber nearby) can potentially harm eyesight.
