Albendazole works by preventing worms from absorbing glucose, causing them to lose energy and die.

children ≥2 years: 400mg (20mL - full bottle)

Children 1–2 years: 200mg (only under doctor advice - 10mL).

Take with or without food – a fatty meal increases absorption slightly.

For pinworm/threadworm: repeat same dose after 2 weeks to prevent re-infection.

The whole family/household should be treated at the same time.

Wash bedding, underwear, and toys

maintain hand hygiene for 2 weeks.
