Highlighted features:
Generic 1D26 HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Module Distance Sensor features
Other Features
Non-contact measurement, suitable for robot obstacle avoidance and path-finding applications, easy to use, low cost
Instructions for Use/Warnings
To function, lift the Trig pin while keeping the Echo pin down for approximately 10 seconds. Set the trigger pin HIGH for 10µs to initiate an ultrasonic burst. For wiring, connect VCC to Arduino 5V, GND to Arduino GND, Trig to Arduino Digital Pin 9, and Echo to Arduino Digital Pin 10. Install the NewPing library in the Arduino IDE (Sketch > Include Libraries > Manage Libraries, search 'newping', then install). Use the provided example code, upload it to Arduino, and open the serial monitor (9600 bps) to view distance measurements. The Echo pin goes HIGH when the burst is transmitted and LOW when an echo is received; the pulse width indicates distance. A 38ms echo signal timeout indicates no obstruction within range.
