Dear Customer, Before using your product, we recommend first rinsing the inside of the thermos with hot water. This process will heat the steel inside the thermos and prevent the liquid you add from cooling quickly if the metal inside the thermos is cold. First, fill the thermos with hot water until the metal part is completely full. If this is not done, the thermos being half-filled may cause the liquid to cool faster due to evaporation. Then wait 15 minutes. After adding this water, there may be about three fingers' worth of heat on the thermos lid, the plastic body under the lid, and the metal layer under the plastic body.
