Add 1 teaspoon (6–7 g) of Turkish coffee to the cezve for each cup. Measure cold drinking water into the cezve using the cup. Add sugar if desired and stir. Cook over low heat until foam forms. Divide the foam among the cups and serve the coffee without spilling.
