Usage (dry): Gently brush hair in the direction of growth; knobbles and friction pull away loose hairs. Start gently and apply more pressure if the dog enjoys grooming. Usage (wet): Massage coat to work up lather with shampoo. Pause or end the session if the dog becomes agitated. Also effective for removing shed fur from soft furnishings such as carpets and sofas. Grooming tips: Introduce grooming slowly for dogs new to it, begin when the dog is relaxed (preferably after exercise), be gentle, avoid tugging on skin or mats, give reassurance, keep sessions brief initially and increase length gradually.
