Everest Yayınları Geçmiş Zaman Fıkraları (ciltli) Abdülhak Şinasi Hisar

Product description

In abdülhak şinasi's "hisar: jokes in the past tense," short excerpts from the reign of selim iii to the period of the constitution are narrated as if he were relaying his own memories. hisar paints moments and tales from the past with his unique perspective and pen, presenting a panorama that points to meanings scattered across time rather than a complete historian. only a sentence from all the stories in all these books remains, only a word from all the lives lived with all this attention and care. only a name with its meaning forgotten, a number with its account mixed, is heard from all these cases. only a song remains from a war spent with all these hardships. only a note from all these songs, only a point from all these claims, only a joke from all these lives, only a verse from all these poems, only a pleasant echo from all these meanings remains or will remain in time. promotional text
