Folic acid is the synthetic form of Folate METHYLFOLATE vs METHYL B12 - Methyl folate and Methyl B12 are both metabolically active forms of B Vitamins and are far more bioavailable when compared to their non-methylated counterparts.

Recent research suggests that l methylfolate is far more active when compared to folic acid.

As folic acid is synthetic, it is not as active in the body and not as bioavailable.

Methyl folate requires far less processing in the body when compared to folic acid.

Each bottle contains 120 capsules of 500mcg elemental folate from 850mcg of 5-MTHF (60 servings of 1,000mcg elemental folate from 1,700mcg methyl folate) and the product is encapsulated and in the USA from Globally Sourced Ingredients.
