The thermometer automatically turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity to save battery. °C/°F switchable. Clean the thermometer's probe with a damp cloth before and after use. Insert the probe into hot water for at least 6 seconds to sterilize it. Warnings: Never leave it in/on BBQ grill/oven/smoker. Do Not touch a hot probe with bare hands. The product itself is not waterproof, with the exception of the stainless steel probe.
