The governor salâhattin, who comes to the village to investigate the incident, takes yusuf with him. As a witness to the entire murder and even injured and lost a finger, yusuf begins to behave more and more emotionless, harsher and more reckless day by day. The only problem is, the governor's daughter is muazzez. It will take a long time for the relationship of these two people, who live in the same house and are looked at as siblings by everyone, to be called love. Especially with his proud, rigid and quarrelsome personality, it will not be easy for yusuf to accept and confess this. Yusuf with the well, in addition to being a touching love story, sheds light on the social life of that period. It examines the relationship between the powerful and the powerless, the rich and the poor, the officials with others, and questions the phenomenon of justice. While exposing the distortions of the order, he also signs a great tragedy. The well-tempered yusuf began to be published in 1932 in the form of manuscripts, but it was not completed. The complete work was first published in 1937 and has been translated into different languages, primarily french and german. This product is listed with netart media integration packages.
