Doğu Batı Yayınları Fear

Product description

Is the scare itself enough as a punishment to the person? How is it possible to live with a spirit of prophecy, with a gnawing fear? "well, what is really going on in the inner world when a fear brings a person to the edge of a bridge, a cliff, and says ""come on, jump""? when a situation caused by mistakes and errors in life brings a person to a point where life itself is torn apart?" Perhaps when pointing to one of these situations in zweig's novellas, “fear” becomes flesh and bone here, and this feeling becomes its own entity. A woman who leads a comfortable and happy life with her children and her highly successful spouse, provided by the opportunities offered by the bourgeois life... it may seem like an enviable life, but a woman who seeks a way to get rid of the certain habits, falsities, and uniformities of the bourgeois lifestyle not in other things but in a trivial heart adventure and is subjected to blackmail due to this relationship... now, even every knock on the door is a for her. I wonder if he can return to his old life, to those safe waters? Zweig, who is extremely competent in giving portraits of human souls and emotions in extreme situations, this time offers a very simple, subtle and elegant narrative of the psychological tension in the desperate situation of an female character on the edge of a cliff, irene's fear that has penetrated into her bones.
