Dergah Yayınları Alfa Kalem</DNTCTMS>+ Mahur Beste (Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar</DNTCTMS>)-YENİ-Türk Edebiyatı- Dergah Books

Product description

Mahur beste, with its story that leaves the hero behçet bey somewhere and opens to a network of completely different relationships, is the first novel of tanpınar's universe, which is based on incompleteness. It gives signs related to the structure of all tanpınar's novels, with its characteristic of connecting the crises of the ottoman society's dissolution years with layered backgrounds. In the midst of bureaucracy conflicts that do not fall far from the myth of fathers and sons, there is mahur beste, composed after a broken love. Tanpınar will later wander the fate of the tragic story behind this masterpiece like a ghost over the heroes of peace and out-of-scene novels. Thus, neither the story of the heroes will end there nor the unending dilemmas of the civilization they were born into... mahur beste is over
