When flowers arrive in bunch form, remove packing and allow them to breathe. Cut 1-2 inches off the stems, remove leaves below the water line and place the flowers in a vase with clean water. After 24 hours, cut about 2 cm off the bottom of each stem and change the water. For arrangements fixed on floral foam, ensure the foam remains wet by pouring water so it is completely hydrated; do not cut stems in this case. Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heating or cooling vents, drafts, and tops of televisions or radiators.
