Product description

Claudia is an eighth grader, a delicate child who tries to understand the world through the eyes of the adults around her. While his diligent father hardly speaks, his unhappy mother spends her days reading magazines, taking care of her plants, and filling claudia's head with tragic stories about women. One day, an uninvited guest will come and disrupt the delicate balance of the family and change claudia's world.

Pilar quintana, whom we know for her work called dog, this time uses the striking and vibrant background of cali, colombia, and tells the story of how even if children cannot fully understand, they can still notice the confusing realities through their observations and how the breaking points in life can drag one to the edge of irreversible cliffs. The cliffs take readers on a journey towards the lonely heart of a little girl who, on the one hand, carries the burden of her mother's emotional turbulence and father's unbearable silence, and on the other, lives in fear of abandonment.

“the colombian writer, pilar quintana, reveals the deep human aspirations and abysses behind the clichés.
