Product description

Turkish readers got to know this Iranian author with Little Black Fish.

Samed Behrengi (1939-1968) was selected as the 'best children's book author' of that year with this first book at the Bologna Book Fair in Italy many years ago, and this is how he made his reputation known to the world. We later compiled and published the author's other books with Can Publications.

There are two tales in Sevgi Masalı.

One is Sevgi Masalı and the other Ah Masalı.

Samed Behrengi is a writer who reformatted the folk tales he had listened to and compiled during his years as a teacher and published them in book form.

Or he created new tales based on these tales.

As in all his tales, love, friendship and camaraderie predominate in these two tales of Behrengi.

A Peach, a Thousand Peaches Who doesn't love Samed Behrengi.

We got to know him with his book Little Blackfish, which had great repercussions all over the world and won two major awards.

A Peach, a Thousand Peaches is one of his most beautiful books.

In this little story, there are two little poor children: Ali and Mehmet.

But the real hero of the story is a beautiful peach that has been plucked from its branch.

Samed Behrengi has let the peach speak this time. You will read with interest how it sleeps and waits as a thick-skinned seed under the soil, how, when the season turns to spring, the seed splits its shell in two, sprouts and grows, finally rises above the soil, and how it strives to become a tree, to bear fruit, and to decorate its branches with beautiful peaches, especially for Ali and Mehmet to eat.

Then this beautiful peach tree also has a sulk.

No, don't expect us to tell you the whole story.

Open it, read it.

We hope you will love it.

The Little Black Fish It was an evening in the middle of winter.

In the deepest part of the sea, an old, old fish grandmother had gathered her children and grandchildren, numbering twelve thousand, around her and was telling them a fairy tale...
