Product description

Connie is a woman of full life, with a highly developed mental ability. But these features have not prevented him from constantly falling into the “layout”.

the people he loved were taken from him by the state or death

in addition to all this, he was closed to the grooming house because he started to show signs of violence tendencies. This time, doctors want to conduct experiments on it.

he counterattacks and embarks on a struggle with the help of a utopian people with whom he enters into a relationship of mind power. While all of these occur in the novel, in fact, in recent years, many radical thinkers have also questioned the institutions and concepts that are indispensable in the modern society questioned by feminist and greens.

In utopia, there are no institutions such as nuclear family, state, prison, hospital, school and childhood

It is also important to respect the balance of nature as well as production. It is looked upon not as a process that needs to be controlled to madness, but as a learning experience that everyone can go through

Most of the time is devoted to the discussion of human relations and political decisions considered to be its derivative

In sexual relations, there is room for jealousy as much as freedom. This is a utopia where men breastfeed their children, thus becoming more affectionate and caring

where competition is considered a virtue

where professions such as “river doctor”, “earth lawyer” exist to repair and defend nature.

the most important feature of the novel is that it points out the importance of being in an active struggle and creative activity for the realization of future aspiration.

marge pierce is one of the strongest feminist pens of contemporary literature, and the woman on the shore of time is her strongest and most influential artifact.

the novel will first fill you with hatred for the inside, you will feel connie's pain in your depths and question all the balances that made her suffer this pain.

then, as soon as you catch the breeze of this amazing female utopia, a sparkling hope will appear.

piercy is not a 'soft-headed' writer at all, in this powerful 'science-fiction political' novel, literature to feminism, feminism without sacrificing literature, has reached its peak of provocation.

woman on the edge of time, as many female readers have assured to be a bedside book, also aims to be unforgettable for male readers

its impact is certainly not limited to female readers.

don't miss it.
