Product description
The Explorer-I (Camera Version) is an AI-powered educational and research quadruped platform built around the ESP32-WROOM dual-core 240 MHz MCU.
It coordinates 12 servo motors to simulate lifelike quadruped gaits and supports autonomous movement, FPV real-time HD video streaming, and intelligent obstacle avoidance using an FPV camera and an ultrasonic distance sensor.
Connectivity includes Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth for mobile app and PC control.
The mechanical structure is ABS + aluminum alloy with three degrees of freedom per leg, enabling smooth walking, crawling, turning and PID balance control.
The open-source firmware supports Arduino IDE, MicroPython and ESP-IDF for advanced development (autonomous navigation, object recognition, multi-bot coordination, AI tasks).
Modular expansion is available via open GPIO/PWM ports for Lidar, voice recognition, RGB lighting, robotic arm modules and other sensors.
Optimized power system yields around 60 minutes of continuous runtime.
CE and RoHS certified.
Designed for STEM education, maker spaces, robotics competitions and university research, suitable for students aged 10 and above.
