Product details
Product description
API pH UP is a pH adjuster that raises pH levels in aquariums to make water more alkaline when levels fall too low.
pH indicates acidic or alkaline conditions in water: 7.0 is neutral, values above 7.0 are alkaline and values below 7.0 are acidic.
Different fish require different pH levels, so test water regularly to maintain appropriate conditions.
pH UP is fast-acting, colorless, easy to use, and will not cloud aquarium water.
It is phosphate-free and nitrate-free, so it will not encourage algae growth.
To raise pH, add 1 ml per 10 gallons of aquarium water and take another pH reading before adding another dose.
Some fish may be sensitive to pH adjustments greater than 0.2 in a 24-hour period, so such changes should be made with care.
