Washing instructions
1. The First Wash (New Product) Soak First: For a new Ghitrah, soak it in lukewarm water with a pinch of salt for 1–2 hours. This helps "set" the fabric and maintain its bright white finish. Avoid Machines: For the very first wash, hand washing is highly recommended to preserve the integrity of the cotton fibers. 2. Routine Cleaning Hand Wash Recommended: To keep the "Marsam" (the sharp fold) perfect, hand wash in cold or lukewarm water (max 30°C). Gentle Detergent: Use a mild liquid detergent or a specialized "shampoo" for traditional wear. Avoid bleach (Chlorine), as it can weaken the cotton fibers and eventually cause yellowing.
