O Allah, on this blessed night, I intend to free myself from everything that prevents my soul from connecting with You in a deep, pure connection filled with faith, certainty, and tranquility. O Allah, I ask You, by Your majesty and glory, to remove from within me all fear that prevents me from approaching You with confidence and reassurance, and all doubt that makes me hesitate to surrender myself to You. Remove every illusion or misconception created by experiences and events that have shielded me from Your light and from feeling the warmth of Your mercy. O God, if there are any false beliefs in my heart or mind, arising from past experiences or the words of people, that have made me feel distant from You, or unworthy of Your love, or that I need to prove myself to You, or that I must be perfect for You to accept me, then ask You to gently remove them from me and replace them with the certainty and confidence that You are closer to me than my jugular vein, and that Your mercy and forgiveness are boundless. O God, if there are any contrary intentions within me that prevent me from melting into your love, or make me feel that closeness to you is a burden or a difficult commitment, or make me flee from moments of connection with you instead of longing for them, I ask you to transform those intentions into love, longing, and eagerness. Let me find my pleasure and happiness in being close to You and feel that You are my security, my comfort, and my first destination before anything else. O God, if there is any resistance or barrier within me that prevents me from being humble in prayer, or from feeling the meanings of the Qur'an, or from sensing the pleasure of supplication, or from live my life in the company of benevolence, I ask You to remove these barriers with kindness and mercy and make my heart submit to You spontaneously, my eyes shed tears of love for You without pretense, and my tongue speak of You with joy and tranquility. O Allah, make me one of those who feel at ease with You as a child feels at ease in its mother's embrace, one of those who find absolute security in Your closeness, one of those who feel that You are closer to them than anyone else, one of those who, when the world becomes narrow for them, find its vastness in the moment of prostration. O Allah, inspire me the right decisions, and grant me the deep understanding that connects me to You in every detail of my life. Let me see You in everything, hear You within me, and touch the traces of Your mercy in everything around me. Open the doors of understanding for me, and guide me to the causes, situations, and people who increase my connection to You, and keep me away from everything that distances me from You or distracts my heart from remembering You. O God, make me one of those who walk the earth with hearts full of certainty, who do not fear the future or carry the burden of the past, because they know that You are the Planner, the Preserver, and the Guide to the straight path. O God, make my relationship with You one of pure love, untainted by unhealthy fear or
